You are Invited to My Trip to the Holy Land

By the time most of you read this our "Wonderful Wednesdays" will have started. On two of these four Wednesdays, May 3 and May 10, I am scheduled to share my trip to the Holy Land with all who wish to come. Please feel free to invite anyone whom you may know that is interested in learning more about Israel, and in particular, some of the historical sites which are related to our Christian faith. My presentation will begin at approximately 6:30 PM, however, whoever you invite, invite them to supper, which is at 5:45 PM. (But please sign them up beforehand, so that we can prepare enough food for everybody.)

My presentation will be geared toward youth and adults, and I will try to make it as interesting as possible. Each session will be approximately an hour long with lots of pictures and a brief synopsis of the various places of interest. I hope to be able to answer as many questions as possible, but let me go ahead and assure you that I don't consider myself an expert on Israel. Therefore my answers to some of your questions may very well be, "I don't know!" Nevertheless, my hope is that through my sharing you will be inspired to be more concerned for this troubled part of the world and the struggles that Jews, Christians and Palestinians face on a daily basis. I also pray that by sharing my experience in the Holy Land the Lord will use me to help you, as was I, to have your faith further solidified in Him.

With Love, From Jesus,

Pastor David

P.S. A love offering will be received during these two Wednesdays in honor of the Knights Templar's 25th year of sending Christian ministers, such as myself, to the Holy Land. The offering will be used to help support the Bethlehem Bible College in their efforts to equip their faculty and students to share the love of Jesus in Bethlehem and throughout the world. If you cannot attend these "Wonderful Wednesdays," but would like to share in the love offering for the BBC, then send your offering to the church earmarked for the Bethlehem Bible College Fund. Thanks and may God bless you for helping in this most worthy cause!
