The Greatest Person and the Greatest Possession

For God (the greatest person) so loved (the greatest degree) the world (the greatest company) that He gave (the greatest act) His only begotton Son (the greatest gift) that whosoever (the greatest opportunity) believeth in Him (the greatest simplicity) should (the greatest attraction) not perish (the greatest promise) but have (the greatest difference) everlasting (the greatest certainty) life (the greatest possession).

This was printed on a Dayspring Chritmas card that I received from my mother a few years ago. Everytime I read it, I get a greater appreciation for the GREATEST PERSON and the GREATEST POSSESSION ever known to humankind. I also get a greater understanding of the true meaning of Christmas and how I might better celebrate this Holy Season. I trust your reading it, at least one time, will do the same. For without a doubt, God's love, shown through Jesus, is the great gift we could ever receive.

Therefore, as Annie, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Joshua and I have received this same gift through each one of you, we hope and pray that you will be as blessed, and even more so if possible, with God's love this Christmas and always! And we also want to thank all of our church family at Trinity for the many beautiful ways in which you have enriched our lives and strengthened our faith throughout the year and the entire time we have been your pastoral family. Truly, we are blessed and it's all because of the Greatest Person who is our Greatest Possession. Merry Christmas!

With love from Jesus,

Pastor David
