CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF TRINITY
Trinity UMC will be 50 years old on May 22, 2010 Please contact Becky Derrick @ 796-3361 or Marilyn Lloyd if you have information or past photos of Trinity.
To help celebrate Trinity's 50th Anniversary, the Anniversary Committee plans to publish a Trinity Cookbook. Please start collecting your recipes. Men, we want your recipes too! We would like everything from wild game recipes, canning, to your favorite dessert. You can mail them or drop them off at the Church Office.
Don't forget to bring your photos for the Anniversary Bulletin Board, also. You can bring them by the Church Office or give them to Becky Derrick.

Trinity United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women will be meeting in February - the first Thursday evening at 6 p.m. and the third Wednesday lunch at 11:30 a.m. Let's plan ahead for a great New Year of fellowship and activities that benefit the United Methodist Women, Trinity and our community. Some meetings will focus on our 50th Anniversary. Bring your ideas, recipes, photos and enthusiasm. Women of all ages are invited and encouraged to be a part of the fun and activity.

Wonderful Wednesday

Our Wonderful Wednesday Series will continue on February 10. The meal will be prepared by the JOY Sunday School Class and will consist of:
Fried Chicken Macaroni and Cheese Beans, Salad
Bread, Dessert
We will have as our guests some students from Columbia International University . Nita will be bringing seven or eight International students with their native costumes. Theyll tell us more about their countries and have some finger foods for tasting. This is in addition to the fabulous food being served by the JOY Class.

In All the Ways We Can!
As most of you have heard me testify, these four words changed my life forever: I love you, David. They were spoken by my pastor, the Reverend Enoch S. Finklea, Jr., outside Shumperts Grocery Store in downtown Pelion. It was one of those providential meetings that only the Lord could have scheduled. I was desperately lonely and looking for someone who was willing to reach out and joyfully receive me as I was, invite me into a relationship with Jesus Christ, and nurture me to grow in my faith, so that I could be sent out as a Christian disciple in order to glorify God.
