The Epworth Children’s Home Alumni Association’s 9th annual “Cookout for Kids”

The Epworth Children’s Home Alumni Association’s 9th annual “Cookout for Kids” fundraiser features barbecue fresh off the grill, homemade baked goods, live music, and vintage automobiles.  It will be held on Saturday April 8, 2017, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Epworth’s campus (2900 Millwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29205). BBQ Chicken and pork plates are $10, kids plates $5, whole Boston butts are $30 and orders may be eat-in or take-out, including a drive-thru line!  Homemade baked goods will be available for purchase from the Red Hat Honeys.  All purchases may be made at the event or pre-ordered by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Over 30 beautifully restored, vintage Model A Fords will be on display from the Palmetto A’s automobile club and racing sprint cars too! Entertainment includes live music from Jellyroll & Delicious Dish as well as bounce houses, face painting and balloon art for children.  Come enjoy a beautiful spring day at Epworth! It’s for the Kids! The event is hosted by adults who spent some or all of their childhoods at Epworth.  In addition to raising funds, the alumni make sure that every child at Epworth get a free BBQ meal and can enjoy the day as well!
