Elmwood Cemetery Tour

The Women’s Afternoon Group will be going on the Elmwood Cemetery Tour hosted by the Columbia Historical Society on June 12th. The tour begins at 8:00 p.m. and lasts about one hour. A costumed member of the historical society will tell stories about the lives, burials, plots and tombstones of prominent citizens from the 19th and 20th century. Space is limited to 20-25 people. Tickets are $12.00 per person. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, June 1st. We have to notify the Historical Society of the number of reservations by June 1st. Please call Ruth Frady at 796-1592 or Gale Frady at 622-4787 to reserve your space, or sign up on the sheet in the Gathering Area. We will be meeting at the Gunter Circle parking lot about 7:15 p.m.
